Informativa privacy dell’app «Appress – team.appress.it»
Ultimo aggiornamento: 10 ottobre 2026
1. Chi siamo
2. Cosa fa l’app
- consegnare alle aziende clienti i contatti raccolti con i moduli delle loro inserzioni, insieme alla provenienza (promozione, campagna, inserzione, immagine), in un’area riservata a ciascun cliente (clienti.appress.it);
5. Come usiamo i dati
6. Chi vede i dati
7. Dove stanno i dati e come li proteggiamo
9. I tuoi diritti

Privacy policy of the “Appress – team.appress.it” app
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who we are
Appress S.r.l., Via dei Santi Coronati 14, 96100 Siracusa, Italy, VAT no. IT01872190895, is a communication agency based in Siracusa, Italy. We run Facebook and Instagram ads for our client businesses, including lead ads. For anything about this policy: privacy@appress.it.
2. What the app does
“Appress – team.appress.it” connects Meta’s platforms with our internal platform, team.appress.it. It is a server-to-server integration: there is no Facebook Login and no public interface. It is used for two things:
- to deliver to our client businesses the leads collected through the lead forms of their ads, together with their source (promotion, campaign, ad, image), in a private area for each client (clienti.appress.it);
- to read ad data and the statistics of the ad accounts Appress manages, in order to link each lead to its ad, make sure no lead is lost, and check our invoices against ad spend.
3. On whose behalf we process data
The details a person leaves in a lead form belong to the business they were sent to: that business is the data controller. Appress processes them only on that business’s behalf, as data processor, under a written agreement pursuant to Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The business’s own privacy notice, linked in the form, explains how it uses the data.
4. What data the app receives from Meta
- Answers to the lead forms of the Pages our client businesses have shared with Appress: usually name, email and phone number, any other answers the form asks for, and consent answers.
- Date and time of submission, platform (Facebook or Instagram), and the IDs and names of the form, Page, campaign, ad set and ad.
- Name and profile picture of the connected Pages.
- Ad data (names, images and texts of creatives) and statistics of the ad accounts managed by Appress: spend, impressions, clicks and number of leads per day. These statistics contain no personal data.
The app does not receive the IP address, the device or the Facebook or Instagram profile data of the person who fills in the form.
5. How we use the data
- To deliver each lead to the client business in its private area, with its source.
- To detect a missing lead, by comparing our counts with Meta’s, and recover it.
- To keep leads for the period chosen by the client business, beyond the 90 days they are available on Meta.
- For our internal control: comparing ad account spend with our invoices to clients (statistics only, no personal data).
We never use leads for Appress’s own purposes. We do not sell them, share them with others, combine them across clients, or use them to profile people.
6. Who can see the data
- The authorized staff of the client business, each for the Pages assigned to them.
- At Appress, staff see counts and masked names. Full details are seen only by the people named in the agreement with the client, for support (with a logged reason) or for the weekly upload of leads.
- Our technical providers (hosting, backup, email delivery) as sub-processors, each only for its own task.
- Public authorities, only where the law requires it.
7. Where the data is stored and how we protect it
Data is stored on a server in the European Union (Aruba S.p.A., data centre in Italy). Backups are encrypted before they leave the server and stored in the European Union (Backblaze B2, EU region). We use HTTPS only, one-time codes to access private areas, an access log, and Meta keys and tokens kept only on the server and in a password manager.
8. How long we keep it
Leads are kept for the period decided by the client business (usually 24 months from submission), then deleted automatically; only anonymous counts remain. When a client relationship ends, we hand the data over to the business and delete it within 30 days. Backups are overwritten as they rotate. On Meta, leads remain available for 90 days, under Meta’s rules.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, and you can object to its processing. Contact the business you left your details with, or write to privacy@appress.it: we will forward your request to the business and help it reply. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.
10. How to request deletion
See How to request data deletion.
11. The test form on Appress’s Page
To test the app we sometimes publish a test lead form on our own Page. For this form Appress is the data controller; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in testing the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is used only for the test and deleted within 7 days. The form includes an optional checkbox “I agree (test)”: it only checks that the system reads checkbox answers and does not authorize any communication. The form is filled in by our own staff; if anyone else fills it in, their data is not used and is deleted immediately, and in any case within 7 days.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
